Lin Ellen Studios is offering an exciting addition to your portrait photography session. Digital Artistry through composite images. What is a composite? So glad you asked! A composite is an image that is created from two or more photographs that, through the magic of digital editing and a magic wand, and fairy dust, are combined into a final image!
Safety is my number one concern. As a newborn photographer, I am entrusted with the most precious thing in a family’s life. Every pose is designed to keep your little one safe and secure. Composites are done to ensure baby’s safety and create a special and unique portrait of your baby.

Not every session will warrant a composite. Some sessions are planned and created using props and set-ups that are in the studio. Here in South Jersey, we might have great access to beach photography, but not so much mountains! Enter the magic. There is often just that one special image that can be combined into a bit of whimsy and fun.
Digital Artwork is a labor of love for your session gallery. Because of the creative process and time-intensive editing, composite portraits are only available to order as artwork. They are not included as a digital file in your session selection. Digital Artwork is available as Wall or Table art. Once the wall art selected, the digital file will be added to your gallery for download.
Be sure to discuss your vision prior to your session!
This image is special as I created a custom vision for this family. I also made the natural wool curly layer and the branch came from my garden!

Here is the original image: I love the simple perfection of a sleeping newborn baby.
And, white teddy bears! How perfect is he? This image was created to coordinate with his nursery. It’s just perfect!

Digital Artistry isn’t just for newborns! This beautiful mamma is a beach girl at heart. While we did her maternity photoshoot at a beach in South Jersey, it didn’t have quite the WOW factor that she deserved. I captured this image on my trip down the Pacific Coast Highway last fall. Now that is what I am talking about!!

The original is lovely, but oh my goodness, that fun sky!
And this lovely Little Sit Session for Valentine’s Day!! I love to add just a bit of fun to a shoot!
